Founded
in Connecticut in 1995, we are a multi-faceted puppet company, dedicated to excellence in theatre, art, and education.
We:
- Perform our own shows for schools, libraries,
camps, arts centers and other venues
- Offer puppetry workshops for students, teachers,
and private individuals of all ages
- Design, build, and perform puppets and puppet
shows for client companies and individuals
Moe
Gans-Pomerantz
An M.F.A. candidate at the unique and internationally acclaimed
Puppet Arts Program at the University of Connecticut, Moe brings
more than 20 years of performance and artistic experience, as
well as a background in psychology and teaching, to the development
of his productions and designs.
After several years performing on the human stage, Moe began
his career in puppetry in 1989 as a lead performer for the Blue
Sky Puppet Theatre in Maryland.There he worked over 2,000 shows
in various venues, from libraries and schools to Washington D.C.'s
National Theatre. Moe's work has been seen in numerous TV and
film productions and on stages coast to coast.
Moe has extensive experience teaching workshops for children
and adults. He was also a faculty member at the Greater Hartford
Academy of the Performing Arts where he taught puppetry and performance
to high school students. Additionally, he has worked directly
with teachers, training them to use dramatics and puppetry in
the classroom.

Laura
Gans-Pomerantz
Laura holds a B.F.A. from the University
of Connecticut's Puppet Arts Program, as well as an M.F.A. in
Screen and Television Writing from the University of Southern
California's widely respected School of Cinema-Television.
Before joining Moe to form Puppetrantz,
she performed as a resident puppeteer at Atlanta's Center for
Puppetry Arts. She has built puppets for the Center, the New
York Shakespeare Festival, and the Shadow Box Theatre in New
York.
Laura has also been invited to and participated
in both the Warner Brothers Comedy Writers' Workshop and the
Writers Guild of America's Writer's Training Program.
